Stop buying XTR!
"Light weight, easily repairable, reputable company that stands behind their product without question and they come in colors! Why are people still buying XTR!!"
At 26.8mm, these are the thinnest dual-sided MTB clips on the market. XC Clip Pedals are stripped down to the lightest possible profile for when every gram counts.
XC Clip Pedals are built around OneUp’s custom, SPD™ compatible, binding system. Riders will appreciate the tighter cleat fit most during hard efforts, out of the saddle sprints and on technical descents.
XC Clips have Igus™ bushings and two cartridge bearings on a chromoly axle, protected by a double-axle seal. They share a rebuild kit with both our Wave and Clip Pedals.
This axle system makes them strong enough for any type of riding and ensures that service parts are easy to find.
Get the perfect fit for any shoe and fine tune the feel of your pedals. XC Clips offer a wider range of tension adjustment than Shimano and include cleat spacers.
Our design focuses on two key improvements: eliminating unnecessary play in the cleat-to-binding connection and increasing the maximum release tension. To achieve this, we completely redesigned the binding and refined the cleat-to-binding connection, creating a tighter, more secure fit without sacrificing float. This provides a locked-in, confident feel while you ride. For greater adjustability and control, we engineered springs with a higher maximum tension and a wider range of usable adjustments, allowing you to fine-tune your setup to match your preferences.
If you’re having trouble clipping into the pedal or the binding feels overly tight, even at low tension, there are two adjustments you can make.
First, installing a the provided cleat spacer(s) allows your cleat to make connection with the binding sooner, reducing the interference between the pedal and shoe and making it easier to clip-in.
Second, you can remove the pedal pins to eliminate any additional interference. We recommend starting by adjusting the front pins and then the rear pins, if necessary.
We recommend using our cleats with our pedals. However, Shimano SH51 SPD™ cleats are also compatible. We can't confirm compatibility with, or recommend, any other SPD™ based cleats from other brands. Use these at your own risk.
While we can't guarantee a completely universal fit with the multitude of shoe brands and sizes out there, any shoes with a 2-bolt cleat mounting interface should be compatible. Cleat spacers may be required in some cases.

"Good pedals. The low profile is great for reducing pedal strikes and the light weight is a great plus. The anodized aluminum body is waaaaayyyyy better looking than a lot of other pedals. I do notice that the release can be a little tricky even on the lightest setting though."
"I'm using these for my gravel bike and so far they've been great. I'm planning on doing some longer trips this summer and will put them through the real test. The bearings are super smooth and it looks like they will last a long time. A few other things I really like about the pedals are 1) They come with a bearing service tool! Great that they include this. 2) The packaging on these rock. Zero plastic waste and easy to open."
"I really wanted to like these. The weight is good but the spring tension is too high. Even with the spring tension set as low as possible, it is difficult to unclip. My Shimano pedals are much smoother to clip in and out of. Also, the edge of this pedal extends further than the Shimano XTR XC pedal and is easier to pedal strike. These were a bummer and now I'm trying to sell them on Facebook Marketplace. Keep your Shimano pedals."
"These pedals are awesome! This was an upgrade from my Shimano M540 pedals…well worth the upgrade. The goods: light, low profile, extremely strong, and well built. The bad's: none!"
"They look good and standard Shimano SPDs work perfectly. They’d receive a 5 if they spun as freely as my XTRs. Maybe they’ll get there when they’ve broken in."
"I'm super happy with my new pedals. They're light, slim, look great and perform perfectly. I can't wait to continue racking up miles on the."
"They are easy and intuitive to clip into if you’re used to spd’s and have a really nice clean feel to them. Would recommend to any other spd users."
"Got them in Purple to match my gravel bike and I am so pumped! They seem burly and are super light!"
"Awesome peddles and they look great ."
